Quality Policy

WE at Dyal Singh College, Karnal are committed to pursuit of excellence in the field of education and research in order to lead to development of good competent work force and contributing to nation building. We endeavor to achieve this by continually improving our quality management systems. For this purpose we have Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) which works tirelessly for the quality assurance and improvement.

Quality Objectives

  1. To increase stakeholder satisfaction annually measured by the Research and Innovation surveys.
  2. To implement at least one major improvement in each core and support process
  3. To implement transformation initiatives each year

Quality Initiatives & Measures

  1. Conformity to the regulatory requirements of UGC, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Government of Haryana.
  2. Well defined and articulated code of conducts for teaching, non-teaching staff and students.
  3. Maintaining state-of-the-art infrastructure and congenial learning environment through up- gradation of teaching facilities by adding of teaching aids and equipments and providing creative enriching learning experiences.
  4. Up-gradation of faculty through staff development programmes, interaction with industry, seminars, educational tours, visits.
  5. To measure stakeholder satisfaction level periodically through student feedback reports, student placements through campus interviews, achievements in extracurricular activities and overall success in university examinations.
  6. Adoption of innovative teaching methods.
  7. Having quality control mechanisms through continuous review of systems and processes to ensure quality assurance.
  8. Inculcating moral and ethical values among the students and staff and embracing our core values to enhance the social and economic environment.
  9. Collaborating with industry, other institutions and organizations for the holistic development of students and staff.
    Disseminating knowledge in the region through continuing education programmes and extension activities.
